When Bukola Adeniji joined the Shecluded community, her business was growing, but it lacked the structure needed for long term sustainability. Today, Lady Ebony Foods stands as a stronger and more disciplined enterprise shaped by mentorship, training, and community support.

Bukola, a visually impaired entrepreneur, is the founder of Lady Ebony Foods, formerly known as Lady Ebony Enterprise. The business is fully registered and holds NAFDAC approval for its chin chin product. It operates across cakes and snacks, organic food powders, local drinks, and event catering services.

Before joining Shecluded, the business was experiencing organic growth, but personal and business finances were intertwined, limiting clarity and effective decision making. Through Shecluded mentorship and a Shecluded facilitated FCMB business training, Bukola learned the importance of financial discipline, proper record keeping, and separating personal and business accounts. These changes improved her confidence and professionalism.

She also adopted a partnership based production strategy that allowed her to handle larger orders without overstretching capacity. This shift supported the rebranding of the business to Lady Ebony Foods, giving it a clearer identity and stronger market presence.

With improved financial oversight and value based pricing, the business recorded measurable growth in customers and partnerships. Bukola secured three grants and a loan, which supported the NAFDAC registration of her product and strengthened consumer trust.

Beyond training, Bukola credits the Shecluded community for motivating her to apply for grants, open a business account, and pursue new opportunities. She describes Shecluded as more than a program, but a support system that helps women build confidence and sustainable businesses.

Her journey reflects the power of inclusion and structured support. When women entrepreneurs are equipped with the right tools and community, growth becomes sustainable and transformational.
